I am investigating the usage of perl2exe and am using the temporary license for now. A few of my teams test scripts have successfully been packaged by perl2exe v 5.22.0 and v 5.24.1 using Strawberry. One thing that has not been successful is associating an icon with the exe output. Our company blocks the IconForge site. We have tried to use Adobe photoshop and Gimp 2.0 and perl2exe is not happy with the format, even though we have the 32×32 and 16×16 image with 16 color. Does the demo version just not support the -icon option? Have you ever used Gimp to generate an ico and if so, are there steps you could post as an example to make sure we are not missing something in the process w.r.t. Gimp? Can you provide an example .ico file so we can see what the tool is expecting vs what we are generating? Thanks for your help!
